Award-winning aesthetic clinic expands with three new hires

Skyn Doctor, a multi award-winning aesthetics clinic based in Huddersfield, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new staff members – Karen Power, Charlotte Hellings and Amanda Makin.

The new appointments, made over the last few months, will bring valuable expertise and skills at a time when the clinic is experiencing a rise in new patients looking for advice on skin conditions and rejuvenation treatments, post lockdown.

With over 7 years’ experience working within the aesthetic industry, Karen joins the Skyn Doctor team as a Business Development Manager, with the focus on creating new business opportunities, maintaining new and existing relationships and developing strategies to take the clinic into the next phase.

On her new role, Karen said; “I’ve worked within the aesthetics industry in many different sectors, and I’m so excited to be working with Dr Aneesha. The treatments offered and the technology used in clinic is innovative, results-driven and affordable, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to enhance their current offering.”

Charlotte and Amanda join as skin therapists, with a combined passion, confidence and ability across a wide range of treatments and medically graded-based devices.

Dr Aneesha Ahmad, owner and Clinical Director at Skyn Doctor, added: “We’re absolutely delighted that we have grown our team as we move into 2022. Karen’s extensive experience and knowledge will be vital to the continuing development and expansion of the clinic. Together with Charlotte and Amanda and the rest of the team, I look forward to developing our patient treatment plans through ongoing education, training and brand collaborations to ensure the best outcomes for all of our clients.”
