Hessle-based John Good Group has acquired Nothing But Ltd, trading as Padlocks.co.uk, an online retailer of padlocks and security solutions based in Liverpool.
This acquisition represents a strategic move for the John Good Group, marking its entry into the e-commerce product marketplace, and whilst niche – one with significant potential for growth and expansion.
Padlocks.co.uk, a well-established business with strong partnerships with world-renowned lock manufacturers including ABUS and Squire, offers a diverse range of padlocks and security products. In addition to distributing products, the company has developed its own brand, Shield, which complements its extensive product range.
Padlocks.co.uk has built a trusted reputation, serving clients such as the NHS, Harrods, The Royal Mint, and Network Rail, while also providing specialised solutions, such as salt-resistant locks for the marine industry. The current Padlocks.co.uk team will continue to play a significant role in the business during an extended handover period.
