Land Rover Defender specialist announces exclusive partnership with McClarrons Insurance

Thirsk-based Land Rover Defender specialist Twisted has announced an exclusive partnership with McClarrons Insurance to create a bespoke insurance product

The Twisted Affinity insurance product has been created specifically by the Malton head-quartered insurance broker to meet the exclusive needs of Twisted’s customers and will provide guaranteed suitable insurance for a vehicle.

The insurance policies will be underwritten by motor insurance specialist First Underwriting and clients will also benefit from the wider benefits of McClarrons Affinity motor insurance.

Discussing the partnership, Twisted founder Charles Fawcett said: “Having worked with McClarrons over a number of years, they understand the specific needs of our customers and the challenges that come with insuring modified vehicles. This partnership means we can now guarantee the vehicles we build will be fully covered and can be driven how they are intended to. Our customers will be in safe hands with McClarrons.”

Ben Pickles, head of McClarrons Affinity, commented: “We are extremely happy to be able to launch this insurance solution for Twisted owners. We firmly believe that the collaboration between McClarrons, Twisted and First Underwriting allows us to provide an exceptional insurance solution for all Twisted customers to enjoy their Defender as they should.”
